Delta to Expand BusinessElite Service
Delta Air Lines has announced enhancements to its business class service on some flights to and from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport.
On flights between New York and London, the carriers' BusinessElite service is being enhanced to feature fully flat beds in a 1-2-1 configuration.
On flights between New York and San Francisco or Los Angeles, new seats will begin to be introduced in September that will feature 150 degrees of recline and 55 inches of pitch, along with a personal on-demand entertainment system featuring movies, music, and games. The carrier will also add on-board internet access for both business class and economy class passengers in these markets.
Also benefitting from the enhancements will be travelers between Atlanta, Minneapolis, or Detroit and London -- those planes will also be upgraded. Delta already has flat bed business class seats on its 777 planes which fly between Atlanta and Dubai, Johannesburg, and Sydney (via Los Angeles).
