Supermodel Banned By British Airways
If you're hoping for a shot to be on the same plane as Naomi Campbell on a flight across the Atlantic, you better not fly British Airways. The London-based carrier has banned the super model from all its flights after an incident involving a police officer last week.
Details are scarce, but apparently there was some issue related to British Airways losing her luggage, and her subsequently losing her temper. The London-born supermodel was arrested April 3 on suspicion of assaulting an officer, and was released on bail pending an investigation.
A British Airways spokesman said " All incidents of abuse against passengers or staff are taken extremely seriously and will not be tolerated. We deal with cases on an individual basis and will take whatever action we feel is necessary.”
Campbell's spokesperson says "Naomi has been flying with British Airways for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer". "She hopes this can be resolved amicably."
