We’re proud to share that AmTrav, a TravelPerk Company, was recognized with the inaugural Travel Seller Excellence Award from Accelya during this year’s GBTA Convention in Denver.
The award recognizes travel sellers who are driving meaningful change in airline distribution - moving past legacy systems and toward a smarter, more connected future.
Following AmTrav’s announcement of new United and Frontier Airlines NDC options and 61% NDC adoption, this award is especially meaningful because it celebrates what we’ve been working toward for more than a decade: building better infrastructure for modern business travel.
The way airline tickets are sold hasn’t fundamentally changed in decades; and for travelers, travel managers, and suppliers, that’s created no shortage of frustration. Our industry’s outdated “pipes” often block transparency, limit flexibility, and create friction where there should be ease.
At AmTrav, we believe travelers deserve more than workarounds. That’s why we’ve been all-in on NDC (New Distribution Capability) and the first corporate partner for many airlines including American Airlines, Southwest Airlines and Breeze Airways. NDC is not just a buzzword, but ais a practical solution to a real problem. NDC enables richer content, clearer pricing, and more complete access to airline offerings. And when it’s done right, it makes travel better for everyone.
We’ve worked closely with forward-thinking partners like Accelya to make that a reality, integrating NDC content into our platform in a way that’s seamless for the traveler and actionable for the travel manager.
From day one, we’ve built our platform differently, owning the technology from front to back so we can deliver one connected experience. Booking, servicing, reporting, and support all work together, without the data gaps or platform silos that hold other solutions back.
That connectedness is what makes NDC work and it’s what makes AmTrav different. Travelers can shop for exactly what they need, including upgrades, seat selections, and baggage, right in our platform. Travel managers get visibility into spend, usage, and trends. And when something goes wrong, our 24/7 team is ready to help, informed by the same data and tools.
For us, NDC isn’t a feature. It’s part of a broader mission: to simplify travel, eliminate the friction, and deliver value to everyone involved in managing and experiencing it.
We’re not done yet
This recognition from Accelya is a welcome milestone - but also a reminder of how much opportunity still lies ahead. Airline distribution is evolving, and business travel needs solutions that evolve with it.
We’re committed to continuing that work. To building smarter tools. To helping companies get the most from their travel programs. And to making it easier for travelers to focus on the trip, not the logistics.
We’re grateful to Accelya for this recognition, and to everyone who stopped by our booth at GBTA to talk shop, ask big questions, and share ideas. We’re excited for what’s next — and ready to keep pushing forward.
