Thanks to a steady rise in vaccinations (and spring breakers everywhere), the TSA saw its busiest days in over a year last weekend. While this is good news for the travel industry, experts warn that it could also lead to a spike in COVID-19 cases. Understandably, many companies aren’t quite ready to send employees back out on the road. And while working from home continues to be the safest option, we’re a year into this thing and we know that you might be going a little stir crazy. That’s where work-from-hotel programs come in. These programs allow guests to book rooms for a day or more to use as a remote office at special rates.
If you’re someone who needs to get out of your house for the day (or longer!) to get some productive work done with no distractions, here are a few of the different work-from-hotel programs available.
Hilton
Hilton has introduced WorkSpaces by Hilton and has rolled it out across properties in the US and UK. You can book a WorkSpaces by Hilton room and use it as a remote office for the day. To book it, call a participating hotel directly by phone and they’ll offer you a special daytime rate. Each of these bookings include a private, standard guestroom with a desk and chair, complimentary WiFi (regardless of status), and food and beverage options (if available). You cannot book a daytime stay with points, but you can earn them.
Marriott
Marriott has put together three custom hotel packages to help you get the most out of working remotely. To book one of their work-from-hotel packages, head to their website. You’ll be able to earn points with these stays that you’ll be able to redeem later.
Day Pass Book a Marriott room for one day and it includes:
Stay Pass Combine overnight stays with Day Pass benefits:
Play Pass Combines work with pleasure for the whole family, including:
Hyatt
Hyatt's Work From Hyatt program includes almost 60 participating properties across North America and the Caribbean. You can choose between three packages: 1 day, 5 or more nights, or 29 or more nights. Bookings can be made directly on Hyatt’s website. You’ll be eligible to earn World of Hyatt points and credits regardless of the length of your stay.
Office for the Day (1 day)
Stay for 5 or more nights and get access to:
