Business Travel Industry Leader Jeff Urban, Joins AmTrav as New Director of Sales and Business Development

CHICAGO, Aug. 8, 2023 – AmTrav, the one-connected platform for business travel, today announced the addition of Jeff Urban as the Director of Sales and Business Development. Urban will be reporting directly to Susan Altman, Chief Sales Officer for AmTrav, to work with the company’s sales and go-to-market teams, particularly to drive growth among the middle market segment in the U.S.

Urban brings over 20 years of experience as a dynamic leader in the business travel sector. He has a successful track record identifying growth opportunities and driving better outcomes in the areas of mobility solutions, global travel management programs, corporate online technologies, sustainability awareness, enhanced employee travel experiences, meeting planning services, and procurement consulting.

Prior to joining AmTrav, Urban was Director of Global Accounts - North America for SIXT, a leading international rental car services provider. During his time there, he made significant contributions to the successful expansion of SIXT in the highly competitive U.S. rental car market. Before SIXT, Urban spent 11 years in pivotal roles at CWT and AMEX GBT and excelled in handling middle market and multinational business development, further enhancing his industry insights and expanding his extensive global network.
