What It's Like to Get a COVID Test at San Diego Airport

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the latest airport to offer in-airport Covid-19 testing on site. They’ve partnered with Carbon Health to bring Covid testing to travelers. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Testing is open to all departing travelers.
  • The testing site is located at the Valet lot at 2357 Air Lane Road.
  • Tests are available daily from 9am to 7pm.
  • Travelers should get tested 72 hours before their flight.
  • Bring your flight itinerary with you - the technician will review it prior to your test.
  • PCR tests are available for $170.00 and you can expect test results no later than 2pm the following day.
  • Health insurance is not accepted.
  • Appointments must be booked in advance online.
