John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) has partnered with Xpresspa Group to offer in-airport Covid-19 testing on site for travelers and airport employees. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Testing is open to all airport employees and travelers arriving or departing from JFK.
  • The test station is located in Terminal 4.
  • Expect to see up to nine private testing rooms and note that your temperature will be checked before entering.
  • Two types of tests are being offered: PCR molecular tests (the traditional nose swab testing) or blood antibody tests.
  • You can expect to get your test results back in 2-3 days.
  • Xprescheck will also offer rapid testing using the Abbott ID NOW test - these tests are not yet FDA approved, but can provide results within 13 minutes.
  • The facility is open all day. Walk-ins are welcome and travelers can also make an appointment online.
  • It costs $75 for the PCR Covid test and $90 for the Covid test plus the antibody test.
  • Medical insurance is accepted.
